Our Origin Story
Our team met at RiskMatch, building a machine learning system to normalize product and company names across 150 million insurance policy records. That work taught us how costly it is to reconcile records across disparate data sources. It made us wonder whether agencies faced the same problem with book imports and conversions from acquired management systems.
They did. RecordLinker started as a conversion platform for Applied’s OldNew and Vertafore’s SmartMap, and we became a partner with both Vertafore and Applied Systems.
Working with early clients, one thing became clear: agencies aren’t just converting data once, they’re under constant pressure to change values in their systems every day. There are no workflows for agency-scale changes and adjustments, that’s the second half of what we do now.

No! We are a data tool, RecordLinker can be preconfigured to match any specific business needs, and it makes no difference to machine learning algorithms.
We are mostly known for our presence in the insurance industry – this is thanks to our professional origin. Even within insurance, our configurations vary client-to-client. RecordLinker is adaptable – and we move fast as a partner to help you and keep our clients happy!
Can you integrate with my <xYZ> system?
RecordLinker can work based on Excel imports and exports to feel like a fully pluggable extension to your data infrastructure.
We can also make use of your core system provider’s API to synchronize data and enable smooth export of linkages. Ask us directly, and we will assess it together for free, and work out the optimal solution.
